Setting up Sametime Access -2

To allow a BlackBerry to access Sametime:

–

Ensure BES was installed with the Collaboration

option and was set up with the correct Sametime

server information

Add the BES IP as a trusted community in

stconfig.nsf

–

Comment out the VPS_ALLOWED_LOGIN_TYPES

line in the sametime.ini file (if you have that line)

–

Restart Sametime

–

Make sure the user DOES NOT have collaboration

and MDS disabled
