Clear Security Code (Factory Reset)
This button clears the Security Code of the Device to the Factory Default. That’s
why this Button is also known as Factory Reset Button. For this, just press Clear
Security Code (Blackberry->TOOL-> Clear Security Code). Be Careful: After you
pressing this Button, all the user data of your Mobile will be erased including
PATTERN LOCK.
Wipe
This buttons erase all the data and application in the Application loader.
NORMAL MOOD (When the mobile is ON)
Reset IT policy
: IT policy is the policy that has made by the Blackberry Team.
HOW TO Remove IT Policy from PB Tool
1. Attach the Device (Blackberry Mobile) with the USB of Desktop or Laptop and
Press Check Connect (Blackberry->Flashing->Check Connect), then, PB
automatically shows MODEL, PIN, OS, BRoom, OS Firmware, Kernel / SFI file,
Application etc. and loads the mobile firmware of the respective device (BB Device).
2. Now, go to Reset IT Policy and Press Do the Job (Blackberry->Tool-> Reset IT
Policy->Do the Job)
3. You will see "Process Started" on the Screen of PB Tool. Wait until 20 to 30
minutes depends upon the speed of your computer.
Wipe Application Only: To delete all the application that the mobile has.
Wipe File System Only: Erasing the system or the OS that the mobile has.
Now, mobile cannot boot in Normal Mood.
View Event Log: To view all event logs on device (Mobile)
Clear Event Log: To Clear All Events Log. You can do it manually from your
Device. For this; “Press and hold alt” then press LGLG from keypad
How to clear event log with PB Tool (Alt + LGLG)
In some Cases, the device get slow when it starts up or get slow running its function.
At that time, we need to clear all event logs.
1. Press Check Connect (Blackberry->Check Connect)
2. After that go to NORMAL Mood and choose Clear Event Log and press Do Job
(Blackberry->Tool->Normal Mood->Clear Event Log->Do Job)
3. Done.
