6.1.1. Synchronization Setup
To setup synchronization for an Android device, BlackBerry, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch,
Windows Mobile device, remote location, different computer, or external storage device,
open the Sync Manager window by clicking the Sync Manager button on the Home ribbon
on the Windows PC version of eWallet. You will see the following areas and buttons in the
Synchronization Setup display.
Sync Location: These are devices that are ready to synchronize with eWallet. They may
or may not be set to synchronize with the particular wallet you have open. If eWallet does
not automatically display the device you would like to synchronize with, you can click the
Add to add a new "location" (device/service/folder, etc.) to this list. For the Windows
Mobile devices synchronizing using the Windows Mobile Device Center, the name shown
is the personal name you gave the device when you set up the partnership between Win-
dows Mobile Device Center and your device. For Android, iPad, iPhone and iPod touch
the name displayed is the device name.
Add: This button allows you to add additional locations (devices, services, etc.) that you
would like to synchronize wallets to. For more information on this, see Section 6.2,
Adding Sync Locations” (page 34).
Edit: This button allows you to edit the details for a Sync Location on the list or change
the Sync direction (the direction eWallet sends data when you sync).
Remove: This button removes a Sync Location from the list. If you remove a location,
you can always add it to the list again using the Add button.
